A sprint board that gets out of the way
Use the template for a software sprint, marketing campaign, design cycle, or any short delivery window.
Plan the commitment
Keep future ideas separate from tasks selected for this sprint.
See work in progress
Make blocked or overloaded stages obvious before they slow the team down.
Close the feedback loop
Track testing and review explicitly instead of treating development as finished too early.
The included workflow
Product Backlog
Ideas, bugs, and future work awaiting refinement.
Sprint Backlog
Prioritised work the team has selected for the sprint.
In Progress
Tasks actively being designed, written, or built.
Testing
Work awaiting QA, review, approval, or validation.

Completed work that meets the team's definition of done.

Running a sprint on this board
Set a work-in-progress limit
Agree the maximum number of cards allowed in In Progress before the sprint starts, usually one or two per person. When the column is full, the team finishes something before pulling anything new. This single rule does more for delivery speed than any estimate.
Define what Done means
Write the exit criteria for the Done column somewhere the team can see it: merged, reviewed, tested, documented, released. Without it, Testing becomes a parking space and the burndown lies.
Keep the sprint backlog frozen
Once the sprint starts, new requests land in Product Backlog, not Sprint Backlog. The board makes mid-sprint scope changes visible instead of letting them arrive quietly.
Handle carryover honestly
Work that does not finish stays on the card it started on and moves back to Sprint Backlog for the next cycle. Splitting a card to make the numbers look better hides the reason it slipped.
